VOLCANO
Volcano is a 16.2hh Holsteiner gelding by Von Burgraff. This stunning boy has had an exciting career showing up to 1.30m in the Grand Prix ring, International Hunter Derbies, and training with George Morris. He is super fun to ride with his light, enthusiastic way of going, and cat like reflexes, there is no better partner to win a jump off with. This special boy is for annual paid lease each year in our program to an approved rider.
FROSTY
Frosty is a 16.2hh KWPN gelding by Big Star out of a Heartbreaker mare. This exceptionally talented gelding was imported November 2023 and has all the style and quality to win in the hunter ring, derbies, or big equitation. Beautiful rhythm, perfect changes, and jumps a 10 every single time. Already winning top placings in the hunter/derbies with our professional rider Richelle Cornell. Available for sale or paid lease to an approved rider.
MILAN
Milan is a 17.2hh KWPN gelding by Chapeau out of a Cardento mare. Imported in 2011, this big handsome horse draws attention everywhere he goes with his stunning good looks, and wins everyone over with his gentle demeanour. Milan captures the attention of the judges with his presence, and then lays down flawless round after flawless round in all 3 rings. Currently partnered with professional rider Richelle Cornell, Milan is ready to bring his next rider through the ranks of the derbies/Big Eq classes.
BELLE
Belle is a beautiful CWB mare who is privately owned, and leased back to our program by her generous owners. Belle is a lovely mare with all the talent and quality for the Children's Hunter Division. With her beautiful movement, easy lead changes, quality jump, and exceptional character, this lovely mare will take her riders to many championships. Belle is safe, gentle, and an exceptional teacher who still challenges her riders enough to develop correct riding skills.
CABRIO
Cabrio is one of our largest, well rounded horses we offer in our program. He is the ideal partner to take you from learning canter to jumping your first courses. With his natural balance and easy rhythm he propels his riders skill sets to the next level. Cabrio has a sweet quirky nature and will be sure to steal your heart.
SEVRIANO
Sevriano is joining our program on loan from his long term friend and owner. They had an incredibly successful career in the top hunters. Sevriano now uses his experience and knowledge to teach our more experienced riders have a feel of a true master in the hunter ring. Sevriano is also safe for novice riders to learn horsemanship, and develop their skills on the flat.
DEXTER
Dexter is a large welsh pony who is full of personality. He is the very best pony to learn to canter on with his light uphill way of going. Dexters cheeky fun loving attitude keeps him as barn favourite, from teaching our youngest horse care right up to teaching cross rail courses Dexter is the fan favourite to learn from.
TEACUP
Teacup is a welsh cross pony mare. She is an exceptional show pony who has taken multiple riders from cross rails to the 1.10s. She is the most gentle soul who teaches our youngest members everything they can learn in horse care to their first trot steps as well takes our more ambitious juniors and teaches them about the sport of show jumping with her natural speed and competitive nature.
ELLIOTT
Elliot is a medium welsh pony who has been with Equi-Life for almost five years. He has an untouchable resume of bringing riders from their very first ride right up to rated shows at Thunderbird in the 2’3 hunters. He is as steady as they come while still having the it factor that gets the judges attention.
FIRENZE
2005 16hh KWPN mare by Darko out of a Voltaire mare. This exceptionally talented mare was imported as an 8 year old after a flawless climb through the young horse classes in Europe up to the 7 year old division. Since moving to North America Firenze showed to the 1.30m division, as well as partnered with a talented amateur rider to many 1.15m championships with the Equi-Life team. Firenze is available for lease in our program to an ambitious talented rider wanting to show in the 1.10m+ divisions, or to someone wanting to focus on their flat skills.
COLA
Cola is our most decorated veteran. She has taken more riders through their first canter to their first shows than all our other horses combined. She has an extensive a circuit record as well is our most consistent teacher. In her last few years she has slowed down to teach her final special rider Jairo the ropes! Cola is an institution here who will enjoy living out the rest of her years with love and appreciation.
SHATZY
Shatzy is one of our valued program horses. She has an extensive record teaching riders from their first time on a horse right up to the show ring. In her later years Shatzy wants to stay in the game at the level she feels comfortable. These days Shatzy teaches walk trot with pride and passion giving her riders the very best start. She is kind and gentle in demeanour while still letting you know when you aren’t doing it right. Shatzy with spend the remainder of her years telling us what she is up for until she retires with love and appreciation.
SR. POPPINS SR. CARROTS
Señor Poppins and señor Carrots are the favourite mascots at the barn. Often used as gentle engaging therapy assistants in their off time you can catch them wrestling playfully in their pen. If you have time to visit they will be at the gate ready for cuddles. Donkeys are also part of the equine family, and are very gentle, connecting animals.
HICCUP
Our smallest working member, Hiccup takes the lead on our birthday parties, Unicorn Club, and therapy classes. She has given countless kids the privilege of their first ride helping them feel more comfortable with her small size and extremely gentle demeanour. Hiccup is sweet and reliable in her interactions giving everyone who crosses her path the best first experience they could wish for.
THE GOAT PACK
The goat pack consists of Henry, Thomas, Percy and troublemaker Bonny who are in and out of everything they can get access to. You will often find Bonny wandering around the farm with a kid in the distance chasing after her. The goat pack is used along side our therapy programs as well as our Unicorn Club. They are gentle and interactive, always managing to make everyone laugh everywhere they go.
