There is nothing more enjoyable than witnessing your little one explore the world around them. It's a magical experience to see their eyes light up in awe and wonder as they discover new things. And what better way to foster their curiosity than by taking them to a farm?
At our farm, we offer a super fun and interactive space for parents, teachers, or caregivers to bring children to explore and interact with our animals. We have some special miniature animals specifically for this program including; donkeys, horses, goats, and bunnies!
As a working equestrian centre, we are also home to 25+ horses of all sizes, and often have mares and foals to see. Children can observe the bond between the mother and the foal and learn about the care and attention required during this crucial phase. This unique experience can also foster a sense of wonder and curiosity, encouraging children to ask questions and explore the world around them.
Once arriving at our farm you will be greeted by one of our farm hosts/educators, who will guide you around the farm introducing you to all the different animals. Your child will have an unforgettable experience while learning stories and fun facts about all of our animals and their unique personalities.
But why is it important to expose children to farm animals? Well, apart from the obvious benefits of learning about different animals and their characteristics, interacting with animals can also have a positive impact on children's emotional and social development. Being around animals helps children develop empathy, compassion, and responsibility. It teaches them about the importance of caring for living creatures and respecting nature. Plus, it's a great way for children to get some fresh air and exercise while having a blast! So, come on down to our farm and let your little one embark on an adventure of discovery and learning!
